Privacy Policy
Last updated: 22 October 2026
This policy explains how Fontnest (https://fontnest.pages.dev) handles personal data. We try to collect as little as possible: there are no user accounts, no comments and no forms on this site.
1. Who is responsible
The operator of this site is YOUR NAME OR COMPANY, contact: hello@YOUR-DOMAIN.com. The operator is the data controller under the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).
2. What data is processed
Server and hosting data. The site is hosted on Cloudflare Pages. When you visit, Cloudflare processes technical data such as your IP address, browser type, requested page and time to deliver the site, keep it secure and prevent abuse. We do not receive this data in identifiable form.
Analytics (optional). If we switch on Cloudflare Web Analytics, we see aggregated statistics such as page views, countries and referrers. It is designed not to use cookies or track individuals across sites. If we do not enable it, we run no analytics.
Email. If you write to us, we process your email address and message to answer you.
Browser storage. We store one small value in your browser (fn-notice) to remember that you dismissed the cookie notice. It is never sent to us.
3. Why we process it and on what basis
- Delivering and securing the website: legitimate interests (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).
- Aggregated statistics, if enabled: legitimate interests in understanding which content is useful.
- Answering your email: legitimate interests, or steps you asked for before a contract (Art. 6(1)(b)).
4. Third parties that may receive your data
- Cloudflare, Inc. hosting, CDN and optional analytics.
- Google Fonts. Our pages load typefaces from Google's servers, so your IP address is sent to Google when a page loads.
- Creative Fabrica. Product images load from Creative Fabrica's servers (your IP address is visible to them). If you click an affiliate link, you leave our site and Creative Fabrica's own privacy policy and cookies apply. They use cookies to credit us for referrals.
- GitHub. Hosts the site's source code. No visitor data is sent to GitHub.
Some of these providers are located outside the EU/EEA. Where this happens, transfers rely on safeguards such as the EU-US Data Privacy Framework or standard contractual clauses, as described by those providers.
5. How long we keep data
Hosting logs are kept by Cloudflare according to its own retention periods. Emails are kept as long as needed to deal with your request and then deleted, unless we must keep them by law.
6. Your rights
You can ask us for access to your data, correction, deletion, restriction, a portable copy, and you can object to processing based on legitimate interests. Write to hello@YOUR-DOMAIN.com. You also have the right to complain to your national data protection authority. In Latvia this is the Data State Inspectorate (Datu valsts inspekcija, dvi.gov.lv).
7. Children
This site is not directed at children and we do not knowingly collect their data.
8. Changes
We may update this policy. The date at the top shows the latest version.
